Tunggakan BPJS Kesehatan di Sungai Penuh Capai 7,9 Miliar Rupiah
sekitarjambi.com – Sungai Penuh, Tunggakan iuran peserta BPJS Sungai Penuh mencapai 9 miliar rupiah. Angka ini terus bertambah setiap bulannya, sebab ada masyarakat yang tidak membayar iuran setiap bulan.
Dari data Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial atau BPJS Kesehatan Cabang Kota Sungai Penuh, hingga tahun 2020 tercatat ada 9.000 jiwa masyarakat Kota Sungai Penuh yang belum melunasi tunggakan BPJS.
Kepala BPJS Cabang Kota Sungai Penuh, Yossi Susvita mengatakan, hingga saat ini tunggakan tersebut terus bertambah namun belum direkap secara keseluruhan.
Untuk menekan angka tunggakan, Pemerintah memberikan keringanan bagi peserta BPJS Kesehatan yang menunggak di atas 2 tahun, hanya akan dikenakan kewajiban membayar iuran selama 2 tahun atau 24 bulan. “Ini program yang diluncurkan agar masyarakat bisa merasakan manfaat dari jaminan sosial ini,” ujarnya. Kesempatan ini dapat digunakan oleh peserta yang menunggak agar tidak terlalu berat membayar iuran bulanan.
Dikatakan Yossi, saat ini pemerintah memberikan keringanan bagi peserta yang menunggak untuk turun kelas. Penurunan kelas tersebut hanya berlaku selama bulan Januari tahun 2020. Yossi berharap peserta BPJS Kesehatan yang menunggak untuk bisa melunasi tunggakan. Dikarenakan pihak BPJS akan menonaktifkan kartu peserta BPJS hingga dilunasi tunggakan yang bersangkutan.(Fdry)
