sekitarjambi.com – Oknum polisi berpangkat Bripka berinisial Es alias ER yang diduga membekengi aktivitas ilegal drilling di Kabupaten Batanghari, akhirnya ditangkap. Pelaku ditangkap tim gabungan dari Ditreskrimsus, Ditreskrimum dan Ditresnarkoba Polda Jambi.
Pelaku terpaksa dilumpuhkan dengan timah panas di bagian kaki kanannya, karena melakukan perlawanan saat akan melakukan penangkapan.
“Yang bersangkutan kita lumpuhkan karena melawan saat akan melakukan penangkapan,” ujar Direktur Reskrimsus Polda Jambi Kombes Pol Edi Fariyadi, Jumat (27/12/2019).
Kombes Pol Edi mengatakan, penangkapan dilakukan di Desa Ladang Keris Kecamatan Bajubang Kabupaten Batanghari. Edi memastikan ES merupakan polisi aktif yang bertugas di Polres Batanghari. Menurut edi, ES merupakan orang yang menyuruh melakukan, mengawal pengangkutan, serta menjual hasil dari kegiatan ilegal drilling tersebut. “Pelaku, dia sudah lama desersi. Sudah lama tidak bertugas,” tegas Edi. (Ash)
