sekitarjambi.com – Kota Jambi, Di penghujung tahun 2019 ini, angka kasus DBD terbanyak terjadi di Kota Jambi yakni 594 orang. Kemudian di Kabuaten Tanjung Jabung Barat 376 orang, Kabupaten Bungo 129 orang, Kabupaten Muaro Jambi 182 orang, Kabupaten Batanghari 98 orang, Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur 145 orang, Kabupaten Tebo 122 orang, Kabupaten Sarolangun 25 orang, Kabupaten Merangin 127 orang, Kabupaten Kerinci 37 orang, dan 34 orang di Sungai Penuh.
Kepala Bidang Bina Pengendalian dan Pencegahan Penyakit Dinas Kesehatan Provinsi Jambi, dr. Eva Susanti saat dikonfirmasi mengakui bahwa angka kasus DBD di Provinsi Jambi tahun 2019 mengalami peningkatan cukup drastis. “Dari 1869 kasus DBD, sebanyak 13 penderita meninggal dunia. Untuk korban meninggal didominasi oleh Kota Jambi sebanyak 10 orang, Bungo 2 orang dan Sarolangun 1 orang. Dibandingkan dengan tahun kemarin demam berdarah mengalami peningkatan signifikan, Tahun 2018 di Provinsi hanya 631 kasus,”paparnya.
Peningkatan tersebut tidak hanya terjadi di Provinsi Jambi, melainkan di sejumlah daerah di seluruh Indonesia. Bahkan beberapa provinsi telah menetapkan status kejadian luar biasa pada kasus DBD ini. Namun Provinsi Jambi belum menetapkan status tersebut hingga saat ini.(Sri)
