Pencurian Sepeda Motor Meningkat di Tengah Pandemi Virus Corona

Salah satunya dengan mencuri kendaraan bermotor, yang marak terjadi di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat, terkhusus di Kota Kuala Tungkal.
Kapolres Tanjung Jabung Barat, AKBP Guntur Saputro membenarkan, jika sejak pandemi Virus Corona, ada puluhan laporan tindak kejahatan pencurian sepeda motor. “Kita menerima banyak sekali laporan mengenai curanmor,” ujarnya.
Kapolres juga mengimbau masyarakat untuk lebih waspada, apabila memarkirkan kendaraan bermotornya. Selain dikunci stang, pemilik sepeda motor diimbau menggunakan kunci pengaman tambahan, guna meminimalisir terjadinya tindakan kejahatan curanmor, masyarakat juga agar bisa menambah pengaman untuk kendaraanya.
Kapolres telah membentuk tim Petir Polres Tanjab Barat, untuk rutin berpatroli di dalam Kota Kuala Tungkal, baik pada siang maupun malam hari. Sasaran utama yakni memantau tempat kerumunan, serta mengecek keaktifan siskamling di setiap RT. Gencarnya patroli dilakukan tim Petir Polres Tanjab Barat, guna menciptakan kondisi aman dan kondusif serta meminimalisir tindak kejahatan. (Sry)
