Sikapi Kebijakan Covid-19, UIN STS Jambi Gelar FGD Semi Virtual
sekitarjambi.com – Kota Jambi, Mewabahnya Covid-19 yang kian masif, telah memberikan dampak merugikan bagi berbagai sektor di Indonesia dan juga Provinsi Jambi terkhususnya. Masifnya penyebaran wabah virus Corona ini, menjadi momok menakutkan bagi semua umat.
Sebagai lembaga Perguruan Tinggi Islam terkemuka di Provinsi Jambi, Universitas Islam Negeri Sultan Thaha Saifuddin (UIN STS) Jambi, membuat Forum Group Discussion (FGD) dengan mengangkat tema menyikapi kebijakan Covid-19, ibadah, kesehatan dan keagamaan, pada Kamis (16/4/2020).
FGD ini bertujuan untuk menyatukan persepsi antar seluruh element dalam menghadapi wabah pandemi Covid-19 saat ini. FGD yang diinisiasi UIN STS Jambi ini mengunakan aplikasi virtual meeting untuk saling berkomunikasi setiap narsumber.
Rektor UIN STS Jambi, Prof. Su’adi Asy’ari mengatakan, semua element agar mengeluarkan imbauan untuk masyarakat bersatu dalam penanganan ini. Pemerintah Daerah juga diminta agar lebih mensinkronisasikan keputusan atau surat edaran agar menjadi tujuan yang sama dalam melawan Covid-19. “Mari semua bersatu agar bisa melawan wabah ini, dengan cara mentaati aturan yang dikeluarkan Pemerintah,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut, mantan Dekan Fakultas Ushuluddin UIN STS menambahkan, jika UIN STS Jambi juga telah membentuk yayasan untuk membatu masyarakat yang terdampak Covid-19 yakni lembaga Locomotive Social Trust Fundation. “Ini hadir karena kami ingin membantu melalui UIN kepada orang-orang terdampak yang dimana dalam hal ini benar-benar tidak mampu, dan dengan yayasan ini kami pastikan amanah,” pungkasnya
Sebelumnya, di dalam FGD ini terdapat 12 narasumber berkompeten di masing-masing bidang yang ada di Provinsi Jambi. Diantaranya Ketua MUI Kota Jambi Tarmizi Sibawaihi, Kepala Ombudsman Perwakilan Jambi Jafar Ahmad, Kepala Perwakilan BI Provinsi Jambi Bayu Martanto, Kepala OJK Provinsi Jambi Endang Nuryadin.
Turut juga dihadiri Wakil Rektor I UIN STS Jambi Rofiqoh Ferawati, Wakil Rektor II UIN STS Jambi, Aktivis Muhammadiyah Pahruddin, Kepala SPI UIN STS Jambi Hermanto Harun, Guru Besar UIN STS Jambi Lias Hasibuan, serta dosen Fakultas Ushuluddin Muhammad Nurung.(Ark)
