3,25 Hektar Lahan Masyarakat di Tanjabtim Terbakar
Tanjab Timur_Dalam sepekan terakhir, lahan seluas 3,25 hektar di Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur terbakar. Luasan hektar lahan yang dilalap si jago merah tersebut, merupakan lahan milik masyarakat.
Berdasarkan laporan Manggala Daops Bukit Tempurung dan Tim Terpadu Karhutla, 3,25 hektar lahan itu diantaranya 3 hektar lahan di Parit Dua Desa Sungai Cemara Kecamatan Sadu dan seperempat hektar lahan kelapa sawit di Dusun Blok 4 Desa Catur Rahayu Kecamatan Dendang. Seluruh lahan yang terbakar berhasil dipadamkan oleh Tim Terpadu Karhutla.
“Kebakaran lahan yang terjadi disebabkan oleh kelalaian dari masyarakat, seperti membuang puntung api rokok sembarangan” ujar Kepala Bidang Pencegahan BPBD Tanjabtim, Rahmat Hidayat.
Masyarakat kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur diminta untuk tidak membuka lahan denganc ara membakar. Sebab Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Timur merupakan daerah gambut yang sangat rawan kebakaran.
